Mercenaries Campaign

OK with all this talk about campaigns, I am going to go ahead and broadcast Mercs. The Idea is new. You literally choose which missions you want to take, and you get paid for them. All day long i have been working on the magic that would make this happen. Here's how it works...you get the choice of 3 or 4 contracts, and obviously, you pick one, it may be 1 mission, it may be as many as 5. When you get done, you get paid and can buy better ships, better weapons. Then you pick another contract.

I am still debating as to whether i want to make it modded or not, but if i do, i plan to only use mods that are already avaliable, so that kills the need for modellers and texturers, pof guys, etc etc etc.

so why am i telling you this? i need help. easy help, help that doesn't require much work, just PM your ideas for a 3-5 mission mini campaign. That's it.

Why now? Because i can only do 6 more missions in Origins before i have to grind to a halt while waiting for the release of MT. Which by the way...is coming along really well again.

So please...PM me with your stories, if at all possible, have them in a mission doc format so that my job will be easier.

I hope this goes through because I would enjoy playing it a lot.
It would require a pretty complex branching structure though.
I may have some ideas. Check your PM's about this time tommorow.
 
I think some groundwork is in order......i'd like to set this to start from 2364 to 2367. It would then culminate with the Second Shivan Incursion, and go back as far as three years prior. I am thinking that anything up to the Capellan Supernova would be fair game.

how are you plannig on being able to choose the missions? and handling the money? and if you need any of my services, holla at me
 
Accounting is a pain in the ass, but we can fix that up by being creative, as far as how to choose missions.....STOP THINKING IN 2 DIMENSIONS!!!!!! lol trust me, that's the easy part. In fact, that's easiest thing about this mod. I'll explain it all in the internal, we may be getting our own, if not...we are using Origins.
 
Hey ShadowWolf, if you ever need any CBANIs for this campaign just give me a ring. As for forums I will get you set up ASAP. This thread will be copied once I create it.
