I'm quite impressed what's possible if you use the Windows sound recoder and a few recorded sounds. ;)

I came up with a few quite usefull menu and weapon sounds.
Well, if this much is possible with this simple programm, I should be able to create some better things with a better software.

I'm not going to get into this too much though, so I'm looking for free software only.

Any recommendations?

@Axem Yes, it's supposed to be on the public board this time. ;)

Use Goldwave? It's kinda sharewareish, but it works well. Has alot of options.....

I heard about it before, I think.

Well, I'll try it. ;)

:(

I feel so... predictable...

Anyway, Goldwave is good. I have an older shareware version that only limits you to 150 commands per session and unlimited commands overall.

Also there's Audacity, it's free, open source and stuff. Seems alright, I haven't used it at all though.

Oh, Audacity is pretty cool for a freeware software. It's really easy to use. :)

If you're going to use Goldwave... I have a cure for it's shareware limitations. :nervous:

I'll check out goldwave too, but I think Audacity will be enought for my purposes. :)

I can even enhance some of the old FS2 sound effects.
