The company I use (http://www.dreamhost.com/rewards.cgi?matthewpapa) to host GameWarden has suddenly (for whatever reason) decided to quadruple/octuple bandwidth and disk space on all their hosting plans. As it stands right now we have an additional 34 gigabytes of server storage space and 1.8 terabytes of transfer bandwidth. Due to this unexpected stroke of good luck I plan to start giving projects 4-9gb storage quotas so that usage of the slower, less reliable freespaceserver is no longer necessary. This will all come into effect after I inventory everything in the site as of right now and decide for sure where exactly we stand.

This leads me to another thing I have been meaning to tell all of you about. During this coming week I will be doing intensive database cleanups and various server upgrades. The only things that should ever be affected noticable to you all is the site search index and the main page (it will be replaced yet again). I am telling you this just so you know, so if anything goes down you will know what happened.

Thank you all for your cooperation, if you have any suggestions/comments please feel free to leave them in this thread.

Haha yeah, Dreamhost appear to have lost their minds. It's not like this is the first time they've added some ridiculous multiplyer on everyone's HD and bandwidth

OMG more than 4 GB for our project. :eek2:

Our progress is great, but I don't think we'll need this much space ever...

Oh and let me say this too:

I love Dreamhost!!!
