I myself am the Co-Leader of a Starfox Clan on a server for a difrent game (Freelancer). and we are looking to add in more ships from the Starfox series as at the moment it only contains one ship from it, that being the Arwing, we are looking too add in the Wolfen and the Great Fox.

Myself and my Co-Leader would be very gratefull if we could use your models (preferably textured). As to our knowlege there is no game that alows players too PvP (over the internet) in Arwings or any of the other ships from Starfox, we would like to give fans that opertunity.

Anyway, we don't have a complete Great Fox model. And the Wolfen model we got is out-dated. It's even mapped and partly textured. I we could hand over this one model right now, as we're going to redo it anway.

Hi, Im admin of dreamvision studio, going under the nick Slavick.

Our mod is based on themes and we wanted for Maverick's clan typical StarFox ships. However its hard to get models for this theme. We have the arwin for them but we also would like to have the ones Maverick mentioned. So we would be very greatfull if we could use your models.

Though not a part of the mod... I would think the answer will most likely be no...

Not for nothing, but who are you people? I know you explained, but having no real way to confirm who you are, and having no idea the kind of persons you may be, without reputations or other interactions, and with the ever present threat of work being stolen and distributed,( a la what that asshat did with the BSG mod's work...) it's unlikely...

Don't take it the wrong way, bt it's getting harder and harder to trust people.

That said we all said that the team who made the models DiamondGeezer wanted to use in his S:AAB mod were arsehats for not letting him use their models.

Although it that case the models were already publicly available.

All I ask is that you acknowledge that I made the mesh. Simple courtesy can go a very long way. :)

My dislike of Freelancer aside - would have preferred a decent sequel to Starlancer and not some X-Beyond the Frontier wannabe - I wish you guys every success. I'm sure all of us here know how hard it is to make a mod for any game, no matter the content.

Let's all share as much as we can, within reason of course.

Never much liked Starlancer so I thought Freelancer was a big improvement. (It wasn't Starlancer itself that was at fault, I'd simply played FS2 before it and it was rather poor and annoying in comparison).

I was hoping for a Wolfen 3, but any decent Wolfen model would be great

I understand you do not have a completed Wolfen 3 model, and an even less complete Great Fox model...

do you know of anywhere i can find plan views of either/both of them?

We're pretty much in the same boat as you guys there. Good pictures and plan views are really hard to come by. We typically just extract the geometry from StarFox 64 and then build the models from scratch using them as a reference. I can tell you how to do that, but it looks like you guys are looking more for SF:As ships than SF64 ships.
