System locks up

I'm about 13-14 missions into the basic FS2 campagn and when the next mission loads up the computer freezes. Cold reboot seems to be the only solution at this point. I'm running Launcher 5, with build 3.6.exe. The last few missions have needed reboots to keep working.
Any help would be much appreciated.

3.6? Not 3.6.5? Have you tried launcher 5.2 and 3.6.5? Try what you have with no media.vp files too.
