So yeah, I figured there wasn't an official StarFox Command topic so I decided to create one because of this image:

Looks like StarWolf is wanted now... I always thought it would be a good game to be actually hunting down StarWolf. ^_^

In regards to the character look, it really doesn't bother me too much, it just looks like a more sylized version of the N64 variants imho. Sure a more serious looking Fox might have been cool, but maybe for this particular game this style fits better.

dunno if everybody saw the official japanese StarFox Command site. Its pretty cool, lots of neat artwork and screens. =) Those new arwings look great! And it looks like I see a picture of Andross! I wonder if they'll spin a good story for this StarFox?

First: strike 911 went with a very important thing; are you going to chase wolf? or he is going to be an enemy hired by the new boss? i dont like the idea of chasing him, in fact he should be chasing you. something that i would like to see is that wolf gets in the middle of a mission like in the demo of the unreleased SF2

second: why does everyone has different ships? does that mean that there wont be starfox team and starwolf team? or they just choose to have a ship of their own?

Third (and maybe the most important thing): if peppy is member of starfox that means that they are no longer mercenaries they work strictly for the cornerian army, meaning that we use a soldier not a "lonewolf" like in the past games.
if starfox team members separate the only members left from the original team would be fox and ROB. the game should be call: FOX

what do you people think?

I dunno. Yeah, it would, but it might be cool if each of them had their own craft that they worked on and customized themselves. I mean, they aren't in a military organization per se, they're really mercenaries that happen to be working on Corneria's side. I could totally see each member working on their own craft to customize it, kind of similar to the way people customize their cars and stuff. I mean, if they were part of the Cornerian army (oh no, General, we prefer doing things are own way.. ahem *cough*) then I could see them being in all the same ships. I think it would be pretty cool for them to have slightly modified Arwings taylored to their styles...
of course, when they get TOO modified and they don't look much like each other anymore, thats where I draw the line. Heh ^_~ I mean, the new Arwing that fox is flying looks real sweet, but Falco's looks kind of silly with the little "feather looking things" on the ends of the wings. I would have liked a more uniform appearance with subtleties but still they look cool. I especially like how the StarWolf teams fighters look.

Sorry, this has probably already been established, but that IS infact Peppy in the pic on the first page. Katakana says Pepii Hea. That's the closest the Japanese can get. :D

so this game came out in Japan and its flying off the shelves.

reviews have been giving it between 8/10's and 9/10's.

Not bad.

The look of the characters is not as bad on the DS screen. (I imported the Japanese version).

The reason everyone has different ships is that the team broke up.

You start off as Fox, alone. Then, depending on your choice of routes, you meet different characters that join your team. These choices also determine which of the nine endings you see when you defeat the last boss.
