Wow this guy is really critical on Fox's appearance because it wasn't consistant through the years. It has some interesting points but I don't know that I entirely agree with this guy. Ugh... I just had to post it somewhere. I don't like some of the things he says but still... its an interesting article. PLus the image comparisons of Fox's character changing over the years is pretty neat.

You actually listen to the crap that they slap on that site.
The staff at IGN are complete morons!
The only thing they give a damn about is your credit card number.

So.. it went from an anthro fox in 60's space garb, to being a stylized fox (that looks irish to me) in modern space garb?

I think the best version was the Dino Planet Fox.

I never really pay any attention to game reviewers. They don’t really know anything about game development. As for Fox’s changing appearance, what do you expect from a game that keeps changing developers?
Starfox: Nintendo EAD/Argonaut Games
Starfox 64: Nintendo EAD
SSB: HAL Laboratory
SSBM: HAL Laboratory
StarFox Adv.: Rare
StarFox As.: Namco
StarFox Command: Q-Games
Each developer is going to change Fox’s appearance to their own style. That’s normal.

Actually, Bozon seems to be a nice guy on that site. He's currently covering IGN Wii while Matt Cassamassima is on vacation or something, posted a pretty cool Mailbag.
