Freespace 2 Multiplayer Config File

Yeah I'm trying to play Freespace 2 online but when I try to download the Freespace 2 Multiplayer Config File but all I get is a blank page saying: 66.25.7.157
12000

So can you please fix it? And if thats my computer then what do I do?

Yes, that is the content of the config file.
Save that with name "fs2open_pxo.cfg" in the "data" folder of your Freespace install.

There's nothing actually wrong there. That's the config file being displayed as text. Simply save that to your Data folder or simply right click on the link and us your Save Link As option.

Ahh finally.... it's taken me a couple of go's too figure config file out,but thanx to this post I've done IT !! heh So I thought I should register and thanx to ALL for putting the effort in. Gezz I've been a fan of FS1 and been playing FS2 since Oct'99,damn it sure is good to be in space again.... playing that damn RI Mission again ... ahhh LMAO

same thing happened to me so next time all you got to do is ..save target as command then put that into the data folder.. makes life much easier:)

I keep getting log-in failed. was this a temp server? Should I be using my User name and password created on the Game wardens site?

Nope. You need to register with the FS2NetD server first. Follow the how to get online FAQ here (http://www.game-warden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=267). It's point 1 that's throwing you from the sound of it.
