an interesting thought

have you duys ever thought of trying to put this game on the wii's virtual console. apparently sometime in the future nintendo will allow independant developers put their games on the VC. even if nintendo makes a profit from your game it will get huge exposure. thoughts?

Few things of note:

1) This is a TC for Freespace. Under the license terms of FS's code release, the executables created from the code can never be sold.
2) To use any of the models from this would be to use the POF file format. (Parallax object file) The format is still owned by Interplay.
3) The wii works in ways entirely different than a normal computer; and would require more code changes than mod content changes to even run. The SoL team aren't coders, they are modellers, FREDders, and artists.

The character known as Krystal is not part of the SoL story line as it takes place before Starfox: Adventures. As for the Nintendo Wii, I doubt it has the proper hardware to run SoL. The controls alone would require a more complex controller than what the Wii currently has available to it.

this is an adventures prequel/ and or replacement. so maybe in the cutscenes. *imagines the developers desperatly trying to play the parts of fox, Krystal, slippy, peppy and falco*

maybe cutscenes are a bad idea :\
