Stats tossed?

The only thread I found on this wasn't much use as the links to what could have been the solution were dead, just wondering how I can fix this problem?

Edit: I was playing multi in the BtRL demo.

Just wondering, would opening one of the vp files with vpview cause this? I've only played some of the music tracks and not edited anything but would this be enough to cause the stats problem or mark the file as modified?

Nope. VPView can't write to a VP file at all.

I was messing around with the port forwarding on my router last night making sure it was setup properly so hopefully it was just me else I'm lost for ideas but thanks anyway. :)

Fixed it by reinstalling and deleting everything in the BtRL folder, except players (deleted Multi and then re-cloned my sp player). I also didn't run the update this time and it's now logging stats. :D

you do mean deleting and reinstalling?...right?

Yes. Essentially I uninstalled and then deleted everything except the players folder. Out of the players folder I deleted the multiplayer folder but kept everything else.

Then I just reinstalled the demo and converted my old single player to multi. I also did not run the java updater which I did the first time round and it's been working fine since.

I doubt it was the updater as it wouldn't actually update the game (just the updater).
