Actually the last one wasn't quite a CTD. I started playing, died and when I respawned I was watching the battle but unable to take part. Got no f**king idea why it thought I wanted to be an observer. The option wasn't even there to click on.

The VP contains the FS2 main campaign altered to be playable as Co-op missions. The missions aren't validated though so you won't get any rank increase by playing them.

Anyway click me (OmegaUltima) and have some fun. Here's the credits.

To play, simply place the 'CooPFreeSpace2.vp' file in your main Freespace 2 directory. The original campaign by Volition was first converted for multiplayer by AceRimmer, which in turn has now been further modified by kv1at3485. Extensive playtesting has yet to be completed, and it is suggested that this campaign should be played on a higher difficulty level than medium.

I use a logitech wingman Force 3D and I absolutely love it :) Twist handle goes very quickly on those things though so you have to turn that off fairly quickly.

My 9 year old sidewinder broke so I got me a logitec.

meh, all of my joysticks are in working order, (mint condition, even!) but they just don't work on an XP.

I WOULD use my Logitech Wingman warrior but the install disc will only play on a '98 machine, and if I use an updated driver for XP it thinks it is talking to a USB, not the game port XO...


Yeah, I might get one of those WingMan Force joysticks. They seem pretty cheap.

i've actually used a couple of them. one stopped working (2 of the buttons konked out), and the other my 10-year-old brother ripped the stick out.
