Voices in my head!

Guys, I'm having the gnarliest time tryin to get the real voices to work in FS Open. I've run the Launcher and "unchecked" all the options under speech, hoping to kickstart some other vp...but it won't budge...it's either no voices, or MS Sam, and I just hate Sam. Please help me. :(

Check the options screen and check you haven't accidentally turned the voice volume to zero.

If that doesn't work check these problems

Actually, before I even checked back for a reply, I looked at your FS Oracle page, K, and I thought maybe I should actually try to get an install of the retail FS2 first, then drop FS Open on top of it. So, after uninstalling and blowing away the reg files, I downloaded the HotU install, then dropped FS Open right on top of it. My only gripe is that, "still", OpenGL doesn't give me very good performance. But when I switch to D3D (DirectX 9.0 installed), I do ok. so hey, I'm stoked! Thanks for the help!:biggrin1:
