I can't believe I almost the believed IGN and not bought Starfox. I don't care if Namco took over, they produced Ace Combat. I've just been playing for 20 minutes and I already love the game. I've been a starfox fan since SNES. Heck, that was the reason why I bought a SNES. N64 also. Now I have another reason to turn on my Gamecube!!!!
I guess younger generations have been spoiled by there exposure to 3d gaming, that many cannot appreciate a good rail-based shooter. Its great to see Starfox in this generation's graphics.
I guess my excitement is a bit biased because of my affinity for the fox.
I'm getting much information on the Arwing's form now. And the Greatfox II Looks GREAT!!! Now that I'm getting a better view angle on all its sides, its mostly likely I'll finish the Arwing II in a week or so.
My only gripe, I miss the music from the SNES. It was more serious and epic, vs the kiddie angle Starfox64 introduced. Nonetheless I love this!

Sounds promising.
I don't have a Gamecube (yet), cause I always thought it was a kiddy console. There are only a few games I'd really like to play.
The new Starfox game will probably convince me sooner or later to buy the cube. ;)
Well, I'm too busy to play more than a round of StarCraft.

Heh... There are more 'mature' games on the cube than people realize. Just because the ESRB doesn't give them the M rating doesn't mean they aren't enjoyable by older gamers. There are a few M titles though, Take Resident Evil 4 for instance.
It's not really a kiddie console, it just has that image because Nintendo's marketing sucks.

My biggest problem is that most games I'm interested in can not be bought here.
I'd have to import them from Japan and that's freaking expansive, plus I'd have to buy a 'chip' or something to play those games.

:( The Japanese get the cooler everything. The cooler games, the cooler gadgets, the better options on Japanese Autos (I.E. Toyota)...
We invent the Integrated Circuit [Invented in Texas, BTW], they become the masters of it. :(

I love the multiplayer.
It was cool in 64, perfected with assult.

Bah. Trust IGN to tell people not to buy certain games. Let this be a lesson.
Damn you guys. That means I still have to wait a month before I can get a pal version.

How long does it take to play through the game?
I hope it's longer than SF64. ;)

I have every intention on modelling that baby,... now whether or not this team will use it is a different question. :)

Your models are great. I don't think we will waste any of them.
We'd rather rewrite the story to use them. *ouch* (got punched by AS) ;)
