Hey everyone,

I've been routing through the whole modding application deal, and have run into a problem...

I use a mac. I was wondering if it were possible to make ships for FS2 on a mac, and what applications I would need. I've read the list before, and after checking out the suggested modview programs and .pof editors, I found that (I think), none of them work for macs. I have the actual modding software, but the rest I don't have.

So basically, I have the actual 3d models fine, but I can't find any of the other tools neccessary for the construction of a ship?

And finally, do you know of any good texturing tutorials for someone who has no idea how to texture models?

Ah, please don't send me to Kara's FAQ, I've checked it out and am still lacking what I need.

Thanks,

Jayge

what proggys are you using ? If you're using Photoshop (for example) there are loads om the net.

Try general art/rendering sites like 3d palace, 3d cafe etc.

Anyway, PCS2 is what you're looking for.
It will be multiplatform, but isn't yet complete.

Thanks, everyone! I guess I'll just have to wait for PCS2.

Or make lots of models now and figure out how to convert them later. :)

Or join an existing mod where you can get someone else to convert your models. :)

Hm. True.

I've actually been doing the first option. Joining an existing mod... hm, I've only got about 3 free weeks this summer, and maybe a month of internet access over it. Dunno if I have time.
