How would you guys like a chat system implemented?....

Would any of you project guys like some sort of chat room interface (icq even) put in place in this site? It might help MOD leaders in their efforts to integrate their team. Just a thought that came to mind as I have seen it in place at several other sites. Only vote yes if you (or anyone you know) would actually use the system to chat or go over things with your project members. Thanks.

Actually how I would enjoy such a system would be just to chat in real time with members of the board visiting... Not necessarily nedeing seperate channels or chat areas per project (I already use trillian to connect to my members on ICQ, Yahoo, MSN,ect..) That's why I voted yes, occasionally..

I would tend to agree with SW on this one, seperate rooms for each project group, and a "main hall" so to speak where we can discuss what's we need or whatever...maybe the main one publically open and the others restricted to design team members?

When i was running my Mech3 team, we used to go into a chat once a month just to talk business, you may implement something like that....maybe find a time that is most convenient for the majority of the admins and Mod leaders and we get together once a month and meet and discuss problems/oportunities.

How many times have we sat there playing tag over PM's or even on the forums? I know...ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo.....but i know that there are going to be times when i am going to want as much of my staff in one place as possible. I think it would be great.

I promise to get it set up as soon as thes SQL servers stop pissing on me. I am also currently redoing the front page of the website, its going to look pretty nice after its done!
