Every time I attempt to connect to multiplayer games, I receive the message:
You have indicated that you use LAN for networking. You also appear to be dialed in to your isp. Please disconnect from your ISP or choose.
This is true. I want to connect to a Virtual LAN through my PPPOE internet connection, which apparently is read by the software as a dialup connection.
How can I have a "dial up" connection and still play LAN games at the same time?

I am using a PPPOE connection that requires a username and password. I am guessing that the software is detecting this as a dial up account.
I want to connect to games on a Virtual LAN via Direct IP using Hamachi as the Virtual LAN client.
Additionally, I am unable to connect to any games via Direct IP connect when using the 'dial up' setting in the launcher.

Other users who are not on "dial up" do not have any issues connecting to the virtual LAN. Those users who had both a high speed connection and dialup found that they were unable to connect to LAN games via direct IP connect when they were using a dial up setting in the Launcher.
If I choose Dial Up in the launcher, I am unable to connect to the LAN games via direct IP.
Additionally, I am unable to connect to any games using the direct IP settings.

Click dial-up in the launcher. You should still be able to play LAN games.
Merged the posts too while I was at it.
