Really cool Vidio and so on, but where to the hell can i download this cool thing? pls answer soon.

There is no release yet. The only way to play it is to be a member of the team developing it.

This is the link to download FS2_Open. It is not required to play SOL, but it will give you an idea of what they're working with and hopefully will keep you busy.

Sorry, there is absolutely NO build of SOL that they are willing to give us. We all want it as bad as you do, but we all are just going to have to wait. If you have any skills that you can use to help in making SOL, they will probably take any help you can give.

It will of course be completely free, because they can get in major trouble if they sell it.

The version people are making screenshots from is the internal development alpha. This version is not available to anyone who is not part of the team.

so, you look for textures? i have a LOT of it! and voice and musik? i play until profi modus so i can use profi sound menu and record the musik. i can maybe help you moddeling ships or buildings??? i done it a few times before in an other game?! so may i can help you TEST software and find out some bugs? so pls, i will do EVRYTHING you want to get this game!:)

i run evrything done well but:

Don't install FS2_Open to your desktop or my Computer. Don't copy the launcher there and try to run it from there. Don't create a shortcut on the desktop and forget to tell it to start in the folder you installed FS2_Open to.

Those are the main causes of that problem. If you're not having one of those effects then tell us where you installed the game and we can try to figure out how to fix it.

i don't installed this at c:\! i installed it at c:\desktop\freespace\! what shoud i do with the Luncher???:confused: :confused: :confused:

As far as the game is concerned the Desktop is the same as root. Copy the entire folder to somewhere like C:\Games\Freespace2

You'll have to delete or edit your launcher6.ini quite probably but apart from that you shouldn't have any hassle.

Depending on how the database is set up deletion of a forum account can create a lot of problems. It’s usually easer to just leave the account “abandoned” than going though the database and deleting all references to it. As for your textures, we didn’t take them nor will we use them. Finally we are not stopping you from leaving. If you don’t want to be here then just stop coming.
