my favorite one is definetly star fox assault, i played it just for three days, but i loved it =D. Im not gonna buy it, im not certain why, but..... whatever.

Well, I have to say that Star Fox Adventures is my favourite because it was the first one I ever played.
I've also played Command and it was ok, but some of the endings were really disappointing.
I'm also waiting for Assault to arrive from Ebay, so I can fill in the story between Adventures and Assault.

1.Star Fox 64 (First I ever played, and continue to play it fairly often. Just recently got 516 points on Area 6)
2.Star Fox (The original, and still an awesome game)
3.Star Fox 2 (Even if it has no on-rails sections, still a good game. I like the strategy component of it)
4.Star Fox Command (See above)
5.Star Fox Assault (I liked it, but it was too short and had far too few good Ar-Wing levels. I did enjoy the multiplayer, though)
6.Star Fox Adventures (Wasn't much of a Star Fox game. Still enjoyable, however)

Ok, I'm playing through Assault, and it IS great! I love the multi-player so much, and I spend a lot of my time on that. I'm just stalling the actual story so that I don't complete it too quickly, and I'm currently in Corneria.
Assault is my new favourite, with Adventures next, and then Command.

Hey, Spense09, I haven't played the first few Star Fox games, and that doesn't mean I'm not a true fan. You're a true fan when you can feel that you actually enjoy the games and want to buy the next one. Adventures started me off, and I've been onboard Team Star Fox ever since. The end.
And seriously, since when did Guitar Hero become a Star Fox game? >.>

In Assault, I can't actually get some of the bronze medals. I spend ages killing until I get the right score, but because I took so long, they take points off my score! There's no way I'll unlock Xevious. Got any ideas, anyone?

I can only suggest liberal use of the boost button, charged shots, nova bombs, and just getting faster and more accurate at shooting stuff.
Which stage specifically are you stuck on?

I boost around all the time, and I always use charge shots. But, I have to say I haven't heard of Nova bombs, what are they? Unless you mean smart bombs?
I can't even get the bronze medal at Katina, I spent ages shooting everything I could find. Finding the flags is OK, you just need to look carefully.
I have been practising my skills though, but is there an easier way? I don't want to resort to cheats, it's just not right.

Nostalgia versus save feature, for me it's a tie between Star Fox 64 and Assault. Haven't played Command Mission nor Adventures, didn't much care for the original, and just found out about Star Fox 2.

I deem the others irrelevant - to me, if it's not a railshooter, it's not Star Fox.

Got halfway through Adventures and threw it away. Terrible buy - I should have rented it. Oh well. Maybe someday Nintendo will figure out that Star Fox was better when you didn't futz around with blasters or staves.
