What's Super Star Fox? Super(NES)? I think there was a thread exactly like this before. Anyway...
12-15-2007, 10:04 PM
I call it super star fox because some people get it confused with star fox 64. don't know why though.

my favorite one is definetly star fox assault, i played it just for three days, but i loved it =D. Im not gonna buy it, im not certain why, but..... whatever.
Awesome Graphics ^^

Well, I have to say that Star Fox Adventures is my favourite because it was the first one I ever played.
I've also played Command and it was ok, but some of the endings were really disappointing.
I'm also waiting for Assault to arrive from Ebay, so I can fill in the story between Adventures and Assault.

Trust me, you'll like Assault. But then again...
I hated the ending. Anyway, Assault is the best in my opinion.

You're making me dread completing it now XD
I hate when that time comes, 'cause you get bored easily afterwards.
I'll see how it goes ;]

1.Star Fox 64 (First I ever played, and continue to play it fairly often. Just recently got 516 points on Area 6)
2.Star Fox (The original, and still an awesome game)
3.Star Fox 2 (Even if it has no on-rails sections, still a good game. I like the strategy component of it)
4.Star Fox Command (See above)
5.Star Fox Assault (I liked it, but it was too short and had far too few good Ar-Wing levels. I did enjoy the multiplayer, though)
6.Star Fox Adventures (Wasn't much of a Star Fox game. Still enjoyable, however)
02-23-2008, 04:42 PM
64 (the last one i played, which is rather sad)
The original (the first one i played, go figure)
Assault (places here, just thanks to multi)
Star fox 2

Me, well i am a chronological order man myself, (there all great games anyway)
SNES: StarFox, StarFox 2
N64: StarFox 64
NGC: StarFox Adventures, StarFox Assault
NDS: StarFox Command
(note to those that don't already know)
StarFox 2 on SNES is a hacked rom, since it wasn't an official release

Ok, I'm playing through Assault, and it IS great! I love the multi-player so much, and I spend a lot of my time on that. I'm just stalling the actual story so that I don't complete it too quickly, and I'm currently in Corneria.
Assault is my new favourite, with Adventures next, and then Command.
03-08-2008, 02:21 AM
Not a fair question for me, but I do prefer Assault over Command. I haven't played anything else....
03-29-2008, 04:26 AM
1.Star Fox 64(the most awesome game in the history of the world!)
2.Star Fox original(just got the ROM and it's awesome!)
3.Guitar Hero (don't pay attention to that)
The real #3.Star Fox Adventure(It was alright, sort of defeated the purpose of a on rail shooter)
4.Star Fox Command (i like ti cause i could play it away from my tv
5.Star Fox Assault( COMPLETELY KILLS THE MEANING OF THE WORD STAR FOX. NO S.F CHARACTER WAS MEANT TO HOLD A GUN, JUMP AROUND, OR ANY CRAP LIKE THAT. STAR FOX IS A SIMPLE SHOOTER AND THIS TITLE SHOULD NOT BE ABUSED IN SUCH HORRIBLE WAYS!!!!!!!!!!)

2. Star Fox Assault (Oh yeah I just did)
3. Star Fox 64 (Still haven't finished all the endings
4. Star Fox Adventures
5. Star Fox Command

Hey, Spense09, I haven't played the first few Star Fox games, and that doesn't mean I'm not a true fan. You're a true fan when you can feel that you actually enjoy the games and want to buy the next one. Adventures started me off, and I've been onboard Team Star Fox ever since. The end.
And seriously, since when did Guitar Hero become a Star Fox game? >.>
In Assault, I can't actually get some of the bronze medals. I spend ages killing until I get the right score, but because I took so long, they take points off my score! There's no way I'll unlock Xevious. Got any ideas, anyone?

I can only suggest liberal use of the boost button, charged shots, nova bombs, and just getting faster and more accurate at shooting stuff.
Which stage specifically are you stuck on?
04-04-2008, 01:08 PM
I boost around all the time, and I always use charge shots. But, I have to say I haven't heard of Nova bombs, what are they? Unless you mean smart bombs?
I can't even get the bronze medal at Katina, I spent ages shooting everything I could find. Finding the flags is OK, you just need to look carefully.
I have been practising my skills though, but is there an easier way? I don't want to resort to cheats, it's just not right.

Nostalgia versus save feature, for me it's a tie between Star Fox 64 and Assault. Haven't played Command Mission nor Adventures, didn't much care for the original, and just found out about Star Fox 2.

i've only played these three, so it's just a top three.
1-Star Fox 64
2-Star Fox 2
06-02-2009, 07:18 AM
Plain old Starfox. It was my first game and it's always been my favorite.
06-02-2009, 06:25 PM
1. Star Fox 64
2. Star Fox (snes)
4. Star Fox 2
1. Lylat Wars (or Starfox 64)
3. Adventure ( but i dont think itīs a "real" starfox game)
I never played the other games, i have to do this one time.
06-11-2009, 02:28 PM
Being a person who's only beaten two of them by hand I'd have to say;
Then again hearing about/reading Lets Plays of the newer ones I don't think I'm exactly missing much.
06-11-2009, 03:51 PM
to be honest i think i started a similar thread a while back. but it's probably buried deep within the forums. oh well. anyways my first game was starfox64 but my list goes in this order:
07-06-2009, 04:06 AM
1. Star Fox 64
2. Star Fox
I deem the others irrelevant - to me, if it's not a railshooter, it's not Star Fox.
Got halfway through Adventures and threw it away. Terrible buy - I should have rented it. Oh well. Maybe someday Nintendo will figure out that Star Fox was better when you didn't futz around with blasters or staves.
07-06-2009, 10:28 AM
I love you man, that's the way I wanna hear talking about StarFox.
