I originally posted this under Freespace > Freespace 2 MODing but then decided this would be a better place for it.

I have looked around but there doesn't seem to be a single official 'map' of the current sub space nodes. This can be constructed with the use of the mission briefings and cut scenes.

So the idea with this post is to list which cut scene/briefing establishes which node jump.

I think this would be most helpful to anyone who wishes to continue the story.

There are a few custom ones, but I would think the volition DL one would be as close to "official" as you could get.

Have you been to HLP?

That one is actually available as part of the Freespace Reference Guide (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/karajorma/FAQ/Downloads/fs2refguide.chm)

That URL seems to be broken (looks like a local hard drive link).

I want to use such a subspace map on the Wikipedia article but I don't want to use a fan made one (no mater how correct it is). This map would be a source for the free alternative.

I am also trying to figure out why the Delphi-Kaus Borealis link is broken...

Oh ffs I linked my local copy again rather than the one on my website.

I think using a fan one for the wikipedia article is a good idea as the :v: one is fugly but the one you link to can't be used as it has lots of non-canon stars on it. What we need is a good fan one that has only the canon systems on it.

Yes, such a thing can be created on wikipedia. Can we establish the canon links here? I need to prove that the image is fully canon by demonstrating where each link is established at.

ex:

Sol - Delta Serpentis

The link you posted in the first post is 100% canon. It's just ugly. :D

Can we establish it as canon somehow? I mean wikipedia will want citation for individual link and such a thing cant hurt. :)

The fact it's on the Volition website pretty much establishes that. :)

Thats a fan made map, unofficial. I need to ''verify'' it based on official sources to make sure everything is right. :)

Actually it is official. As far as I know Volition created it themselves. It's definitely been referred to as the official map for the 7 years I've been in the community so I doubt you'll find anything more official.

CP5670's map found on the PI website on HLP (pi.hard-light.net) only has canon systems in it, and it looks cool too.
