DaBrain

Yeh, sure... um, ok.
Und keiner heir!...
Um.... ich und gumi bear.
Deustch=German I assume. I had a german girlfriend. She taught me nothing but witchcraft. No German phrases. I just know TOOL lyrics for "Satan's Eggs" and Ramstein's first US release.
Du hast mich?
I see you have my Enterprise A conversion!!I I hope thats not my BSG you got in that folder... Thats classified!!! ;)

I see! That's pretty cool. Btw, do you currently live in Germany or do you live in the US?
DaBrain

I'm currently in Germany.
Where do you live?
Sounds like can speak german verry well. :)
Fox McCloud

I currently live in the USA. I sometimes wish I lived in Germany, from what I hear, it's a great country to live in. I decided to take German in high-school b/c of several reasons: 1. My ancestry is highly German 2. I really like the German people. 3. It's a very cool langauge IMO. 4. I didn't want to take a cliche language.
Thanks for commenting that I speak German very well....but trust me, I do not speak it very well...:T

I can speak german too, but not a lot.
OOoooo, he ist der Amerikaner.
that's about it. :D
Fox McCloud

Lauf für Ihr Leben, er hat eine Bazooka!
i saw this written somewhere, it may be wrong...
Fox McCloud
03-22-2005, 12:59 AM
that sounds prettz close, it may be "Lauf für dein leben, er hat eine bazooka!" I'm not positive about this, DaBrain would know best.

Tool me like 15 minutes to write that because I dont remember much.

Hehe great. The grammar is... well, a bit off. ;)
Anyway nice!
I noticed some people using german words sometimes. (In certain situtations.)
Using english or american-english words sometimes is notrhing special.
I'm curious if this is related somehow. I never thought german was a 'cool' language.
Cobra
03-22-2005, 02:09 AM
i'm thinking that "bazooka" should be "panzerfaust" since "panzerfaust" literally means "bazooka".
you would know if you've played "Medal of Honor: Underground" :D

Well, cobra 'ist eine grosse ascheloche' but besides that...
German is only a cool language to those of us who hate the mainstream. :p Like all the wusses learning spanish, and french. :p
I studied German for a year, and can make sense of most of what I read, oddly enough.
But as for writing it... nein. :p Ich kein kann. And if that's correct, I'm amazed :p
Fox McCloud
03-22-2005, 02:38 AM
I completely agree with you. I'm definitely not mainstream.....yet another reason I chose German.
Cobra

Fox; Yep. I want to learn so many languages, though... I wish I was fluent in German, and conversational in Japanese. And I'd not mind learning Italian.. (OMG Axis! Axis! lol)
Fox McCloud
03-22-2005, 05:39 AM
Lol. Yeah, I wish I could read Japanese, but I don't really care to speak it....really weird huh? That reason mainly stems from my love of video-games. I tried to convince my friend to take German....but NO! He had to take Russian... -_-

Anyway, I'm taking Japanese. French and Spanish? HAH!
One of those loser mods should split the thread from on topic and off topic stuff. ;)
And ha! I'm taking... um... C++?

Wow, you lived overseas....how was that?
I know America is a very diverse place, but what about you people of other countries? what is your ethnicity? for me its:
1/2 English
1/8 Italian
1/8 Greek
1/8 German
1/8 Random shit from my mom's side (we are not entirely sure)

My bloodline is pure Italian. Half from the mainland, half from Sicily.
And NH, is it scheisskopf? :p
Fox McCloud
03-23-2005, 04:01 AM
Yeah, that sounds about right. counting in German is really easy, it's not that much different from English counting....except a few small things. Anyway, has anyone here heard the German song "Kinder" by Wise Guys? Hilarious song, you just have to love it.

Yeah i lived in Germany, I was born in Spain, grew up in New jersey, now in Texas, 4 different countries:p
as for nationality for me

1/2 Caucasian(scottish,french, sweedish)

I absorbed exactly none of the French they attempted to force inside my head in primary school, nor any of the Japanese I took in high school (which I eventually quit). All I know is 'ich bin gott', 'youkai', and 'ringo'.
Ringo means apple.
Taristin
03-23-2005, 05:41 AM
Ich bin gott, would be german, no? ;)
I'm learning japanese thrrough music.
Aishite is love.
Anata no denotes belonging to you.

Yasashisa is courage...

Nope it's fine.
@Ra I love Japan. I'm trying to lear a bit japanese by myself. ;)
I also like ancient languages. I've had Latin for a few yers. It's too complex to speek as it takes at least a few minutes to use the grammar.
It was fun after all. ;)

To be honest I don't know a song called 'Kinder'.
Wise Guys? They probably play in the US, right?
Fox McCloud
03-26-2005, 12:56 AM
Nope, they aren't a US group. They're an acapella group from Cologne. I guess they're quite a hit over there, or so I read. Anyway...
Jejejeje como que la mayoria de aqui sabe aleman :D bueno aqui les llego con el spanish, aun sinceramente solo se español, a little bit of english, y un poco de japanese aunque por hobby Konnichiwa!, and gomen nasai for all this combination of languages :D
