Actually, there are a couple of ways your wii can access online capabilities

1) through a wireless connection (using a wireless router)
2) a wireless connection with a wi-fi USB connector (connects to your pc)
3) a wired using a wii LAN adapter (relatively hard to find)

I recommend using option 1 or 2. I have a wireless router that i picked up for 50$ (near 27 pounds i think). My wii connected to it in an instant and i got internet connections.

::If u need help, use nintendo.com, select your region, click the wii tab, click on tech support, then online connection and feature support. I posted this info here so if u needed help connecting your wii when u get 1::

Thanks so much for the info! Now I also know how much a router will cost. It's not that much, so I should have one just after I get a Wii. It is really hard to save up Avon wages, though, especially when not many people buy stuff. The most I've made was about....... £80? Something like that. But anyway, I have a long way to go, saying as a Wii is £179 here. My little brother is actually saving up for it too X3

In my group of friends there is one house everyone goes to hang out so I leave my Wii there and everyone once in awhile I move it back here to play single player games I am really into. I like their TV there and we have Smash Brothers always hooked up ready to go so its an easy switch then me having to hook everything back up each time I am over there. The only time this is a problem is when I wanna update something on my Wii or just play a quick match of Mercenaries on RE4 and I don't have my Wii ><; I don't even have my GC here its not hooked up over there maybe I should put it on my console display shelf! Keep the DreamCast and other Nintendo Handheld consoles company.

I don't feel lonely with out my Wii as long as I have my PC with me! (Which I normally do I built it with a strap for easy carrying)

I prefer to say whatever character a certain friend of mine plays as sucks... not because they suck but because he always owns me. He likes to play as Wario, his brother prefers to play as Game & Watch who I have to say love but rarely play as anymore.

Normally I will either pick Sonic, Pikachu, Marth, IceClimbers and Wolf. I used to play as Game & Watch and Jiggly puff alot on the GC version but Jiggly Puff I just feel can only play on certain maps but thats cuz I like to spin across the screen lol.

I'd love to get playin' online as well. My only gripe is that there tends to be lag, from what I've heard.

As for my fave characters, it dances between Fox, Lucario, and Wolf. I like them all the same, kick arse just the same (just faster with Fox/Wolf), and they're all a ton of fun to play as.

I don't even have Brawl yet, so I can't exactly say who I'm good with.
In Melee, I was particularly good with Link. I also used to play Zelda a lot, but then she got kind of old... Then my Star Fox obsession set in, and I began to play as Fox. I'm not exactly what you call 'good' with him, though. I will practice a whole lot before coming online and getting my tail whiped.

And at last, I know the release date for Brawl here - the 27th June. Finally, I can start to count down... >.>;

I only have to say one thing about when you get Brawl... stay AWAY from the kitten!... My love of them made me try what Zelda is doing as soon as it appeared on screen for the first time we had the game.... My only regret is we didn't become friends ; ;

I think some other good game choices would be anything your into. If you like skiing, WeSki just came out here, recently (I dunno about Europe though) and, get Mario Party if you have plenty of people who will play with it...

Also, you can buy stuff from the Virtual Console if you've the wii points to do so, so you can just ask for some wii points.

I remember there being a port of OoT for the GameCube, so if you find it, get it. And, I really want a Wii. I just got the USB connector thing for my DS, and I am already BORED with it, because gameplay is so limited.Final Fantasy 3 only has this emai thing, MM Starforce just adds extra abilities depending on what version of the game your buddies. or "BrotherBands" (Lame...) have, and email, and maybe battle, Starfox Command has some good battle options, but nobody is freaking online!!!! I'd say Worms Open Warfare 2 is the best choice for DS online play. I want the Wii, because in my opinion, Consoles and Computers were ment for online play, not handheld. I'll make an exception to the PSP. That thing has some neat online stuff.

I don't know what else I could say about the wii, other than I am not liking any of the games so far I've seen? I like a lot of stuff that's come to 360 so far... I can't really name a few good games I enjoy playing other than BRAWL, on the wii. Graphics are shallow as of late. Some games are downright pretty but still lousy whereas the best games are STILL the older ones. XD

Example: Best shooter I've ever played: Lightening Force (Yes, with the 'e'). It was on the GENESIS.

Recent lousy-but-pretty release: Alone in the Dark. The game was pathetic, a lot of potential thrown away. But it looks pretty.

My bottom line: Who cares if a game is pretty? Let's see a game worth playin'. Like Okami, Starfox, Lightening Force, the OLD Sonic games, etc.

Well, House of the Dead is a lot like UC; arcadey shooting fun. Then there's No More Heroes, but that game was really not the best. Some people might enjoy it, but as far as I'm concerned, it was a flop. XD

Believe it or not, I really didn't enjoy Brawl, the characters were so floaty that there is no real need for a death-by-fall. But I'm probably just bitter since I had verged on being at a tourneyfag level in Melee, and they changed the formula in needless areas (do I really need to randomly trip?). But I'd really say the largest let down of the game is how largely they dropped the ball with online content. Having no DLC or even a properly functioning online mode just doesn't cut it in my book, and a lot of the game just felt like a lot more of the same old in areas (like collecting) that didn't warrant it.

Also, I'm not quite sure why Nintendo being a purely game console is a good thing. I'd personally call that a lack of effort (seeing as how hackers have been able to achieve things like using the system as a DVD player).

Having no DLC or even a properly functioning online mode just doesn't cut it in my book, and a lot of the game just felt like a lot more of the same old in areas (like collecting) that didn't warrant it.

Also, I'm not quite sure why Nintendo being a purely game console is a good thing. I'd personally call that a lack of effort (seeing as how hackers have been able to achieve things like using the system as a DVD player).

Also, on the topic of pretty games for the Wii, The Conduit.I hate the randomly tripping... It made me lose a few matches on my last stock... I did notice everyone is more floaty, too, it's easier to recover (except with some of the veterans like Fox... his sideways movement in air is terrible) which is a downside. I think melee is more of the way to go for me, as I'd MUCH rather play that than Brawl (Young Link > Toon Link)

it dosent really matter lol. I could put in Krystal as your name and i would know it was you lol. The username you put in, is just what is shown up in brawls. On the regristration list, is whatever you put in yourself for that persons friend code.

You can get a Brawl card like mine which tells everyone your FC, who you play as and what your favourite place is! You can also level people up, it's cool. I suggest you guys get one :)

3) i make a new one with a new password, and the website tells me that....
