I don't mean to be a constant throw down, but the general site outlay is a bit icky.

As for dark tiles. There are a few that come with windows that you could even use. Just pick one, and if its not the right colour, fix it up in a image program. :)

The color theme isn't the best. You really should darken the background. And Geocities suck big time. Lycos host sites for free and you get a FTP access there.
