Since it is nearly impossible to merge two vbulletin backups (unless you can write a script to do it for you) I wouldnt bother posting at HLP right now. The posts from April 1-4 will probably all be lost. The HLP admins just need to realize this and get on with it!

We took the precautions of making three different backups before we did anything. The only thing different this time is that GS changed the password on us.

Incidentally, I did test the pirate word filter on the Test forum before unleashing it on the general populace.

Before the GS hacking attempt right? Did you all forget that the passwords had been changed an not remember to request a new one? Or did GS suddenly change the passwords again recently?

Cause if you haven't done a forum restore since before the hacking attempt then I stand by my claim that I would have tested it. I may have been too lazy to check if my old MG password works or request a new one if it doesn't but I'd certainly check before I asked one of the admins to wipe my site in preperation to me putting up a new version :D
