Freespace 1 Multiplayer

I was wondering if there's any way to play the original Freespace/Silent Threat package on multiplayer with a wireless connection. Obviously, the parallax server is dead, and so far, everything I've searched has turned up as Freespace 2 mods.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get FS2_Open and you should be able to play FSPort over either FS2netD or a lan. I never had FS1 so I don't know if it has a lan option or not. If it does then all you have to do is turn off PXO and put in the address of the other computer from the client side.
