I've just finished watching season 7 and 8 and now am backtracking from there to catch up with this KICK ASS SHOW!!! O'Neil.... what a character!!!

No wonder Farscape got the booth to fund this show ( I still am a Farscape afficionado). No doubt Ben Browder will make an interesting addition to SG1, but he's still no replacement for O'Neil.

I guess they can rename the show to "FARgate FG-1". Get it? Farscape >> Stargate....

ANYWAYZ, I just finished backtracking to the first episode of season 6 with the introduction to the F-303. WOW!!! Now the Prometheus's first appearance got my attention.

If you guys can hook me up with some schematics for the f-303 and I'll have her modelled in a week, that is if no one has started her yet. I am pressed for time as I too have a project to coordinate (BSG). I'd like to know what this project's angle on the story as well.

hhhmmmmm.... Well i don't know of any specks online. The only thing I can think of is to watch the shows with the 'Promethus' like "Grace", this has big shots of the internal diagnostic screen, and the first part of "Moebius" when they are looking at the 'Daunaless'

Not the prometheus. I meant the Death Glider hybrid plane. I believe its either the F-302 or 303. Strange that they name both the Fighter and the Carrier with similiar numbers.

I need blue prints and stuffs. I'm not having any luck Googling or Yahooing.

no the Death Glider hybride 'plane' is the x-301. The human designed starfighter is the x-302. The Battlecuiser is the x-303. The 301 was a total failure. the other two were successes except for the 302's hyperdrive. I hope they will have it fixed really soon

Omni I have been keeping up with you work at the BSG mod. Very Nice. I have tryed to make contact with the person that was doing our x/x-302 models without success. So unless BW can contat them I guess you can try it out. A good place to look a shematics in the series in season seven "Fragile Balance"

Wow.... I love this show.

I just sat through 4 seasons for that the last week (Seasons 5-8). 80 episodes of SG bliss. Oh, my ass is sore! Yes I'm nuts. Its nice to take a break from a character driven show like Galactica and watch SG's multi-threaded story driven glory.

The Asguard, wow, kick ass. Go'auld vs Replciators SWEET!!! NID and The Trust.. intriguing. Vice President Kinsley... an ASS. They have established quite a rich storyline. I hope DeLuise can keep up the pace with season 9. Without O'neil its gonna be a tough transition. Ben Browder might add an interesting new dynamic with the team. I don't know about Beau Bridges and Louis Gossip Jr. though. I guess we'll see what happens in July.

I kinda hate the way SG:Atlantis demystified the Ancients and their technology though. I hope that show straightens up and rid themselves of their weak antagonists, the "Wraith". The Goauld is a hundred times more interesting than space vampires. I do like Shephard and Mc'Kay. That Scotish dude and that whiney longhaired russian ASS scientist should be hexxed.

I saw one episode from probably 3years ago latest season of SG1. The one where the old general takes the prometheus and heads towards Atlantis with Daniel.

The new space orientated series revives my enthusiasm for this project. Hopefully next set of holidays we can whip something up. :)

Glad to see Omni getting more interested in this project too,I have to confess,I really enjoy the new Atlantis series more.The episode I just saw last weekend just knocked me out of my chair when the Wraith attacked Atlantis in full force and the Marines showed up to help defend the city...total eye candy ,unbelievable CGI happening there!I know not exactly the right forum but it's still Stargate too,kind of.

Hey there Flygirl,sorry for late responce,I have seen every SG1 since it first started years ago including the original movie with the other actors.I do like both but Atlantis has some fresh ideas.

I have all the stargate on DVD. I like it, and O'Neil is my favorite. The same cinical/sarcastic honesty as Dr. House! LOL! He never lerned the meaning of the word "respect" !!! I love him!

The SG-1 was different in the begining... but as time passed, they become too "professional" and well equipped, and kicked almost every possible badass (9 session is a looooooong time). So... spinoff, stargate to another galaxy, finding Atlantis (wow), with uber-tech (wow^2), and (ups!) an uber-enemy (wow^3) who tramped into the ground the almighty ancients/atlantians (actually eat them, but those are minor detailes). And Atlantis gives work to dozens of 3D handimans... :) Beautiful effects....I like that city. There is one possible thing they never did in the two session: I cant wait to see Atlantis fly and fight in the space! Anyway: Omni, do you want me to modell Atlantis for you? We could "accidently" replace the cylon base to Atlantis "randomly" (5% probability, lets say) as an easter egg. :) The same triangular-circular concept, but inpenetrable shield and million times the firepower. :) :) :)
