Greetings to All at GW !

TCP Chapter One - The Duke and The Emperor has been released few days ago, as you may have seen it over at HLP (http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/~freespace/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32543&perpage=25&pagenumber=1).

The campaign files are now hosted at GW, thanks to all the staff for making it possible !

Download (http://www.game-warden.com/tcp)

The campaign has been in the making for 4 years now, with several long breaks mainly due to RL issues.

Chapter One includes 7 missions with voices, 3 new ship models, CB anis and other stuff. The story of the campaign and other useful info can be found here (http://w3.enternet.hu/fscult/TCP.htm).

An intro movie is also available for d/l.
This was my first serious attempt for making a decent animation in 3DS MAX 3.0, and also for making a full piece of MIDI music, so it is rather a concept than a film. There is no shooting in the movie. I wanted to include a few symbols from the original FS2 campaign, referring to the capella incident, the Shivan threat and to introduce the new fleet being built within TCP.
It was also my first trial with particle systems within MAX, and it resulted in some .. hmm .. interesting stuff. :nervous: Finally I was quite happy with at least the engine exhaust of the GTCr Nexus if nothing else.
I remember that it was hindered by several crashes of MAX, and the rendering took about 5 days on my system. :biggrin1:

So much for my comments to the intro, and I hope you will enjoy the campaign. :)

I still haven't played this. By the end of next week, I will surely try it out, beat it, and post feedback.

Really... What happened to your http://www.pgrunt.atw.hu website? It's down for me. It says unregistered site.

Take your time. Exams are important.
They simply kicked me off of ATW. It's a free hosting service, and the traffic was probably too high after I posted the link and people tried to download the campaign (cca 250 MB a day).
There is nothing else I can think of. It was useless for ppl outside Europe anyway.
