View Full Version : FTP: Am confused, am in need of information

I am absolutely confused about the FTP now.
So, is the FTP address freespacerserver.cjb.net or game-warden.com ?
What is the port? Is the login info case-sensitive?
Because I tried all variations of all my three customary passwords and both variations of address but I received 'Login incorrect' at game-warden.com and at the freespaceserver.cjb.net the site seemed to be down.

Enlighten me.

Yes it's case sensitive.

You are correct, Primus.

The freespaceserver will be off and on for the next couple of days due to the fact it keeps shutting down on random without me knowing so be aware of that. I will be attempting to fix the random shutdowns problem once I have finished taking my exams and school is out (in about a day or so.) The game-warden account should be working fine for now if you have one.

I think I have a game-warden account, too. I had one at freespaceserver.cjb.net, so I guess all my files and my account got transfered to game-warden, too.

If I don't have one at www.game-warden, I request one.
If I have one, I request my login information to my E-mail or to my PM box, becasue I would like to know the folloiwing:
Am I logged as topace or TopAce?
Which port? 21 or 6969?
Do I need the 'www' in the adress?
What is the exact address? game-warden.com, is it not?

I think I fixed the freespacesever shut down problem. Someone try and access it to verify.

I tried to log in with my Divided Terrans account and it gave me an error: Connection failed freespaceserver.cjb.net - connection timed out.

Its cause the power is out at my house right now. It should be up as soon as the electricians finish.

Ok, the FTP's up and I can connect. However, I am unable to actually view any of the material using either firefox or ie. Is there some trouble with the access issues? :/

ermm...i cant login to my account now, which is strange since I can see all my files and stuff from a web browser. However, all FTP programs simply time out while trying to reach the server O_O
