@ Psygonis. My no.1 rule on the internet is: If I have heard of/know it, then so does every one else.
I knew that 64 was called Lylat Wars in Europe and Australia, therefore, so did EVERY ONE else.

You can bet it'll look, at least in general outline, a lot like the FS2 interface. At least at the moment it's not possible to change the general outline of the interface, though you can alter the individual graphics.

Instead of Gold rings, I wish Nintendo could give it more realistic approach. like perhaps shields.
even on foot missions, instead of health boxes, why not recharging shields? it would give it a more realistic approach (kinda like halo)
I mean, they are wearing some type of advanced battle armor anyway. XD
Also, the Great Fox in Subspace (SSBB) used a shield when battling the great halberd. and then gets pwned. :D
Damn, the Great Fox gets owned all the time! once in sector Z, then by the Aparoids, then by the halberd! I call dibs on a new youtube video :D

There's a fair chance that the HUD will be as "minimalistic" (in comparaison of the HUD from FS2) as traditionnal Starfox HUDs.
However, the fact that we're working the the FSO Engine gives us a far wider range of possibilities that we intend to use, implicitely or explicitely.
In term of HUD display, we're currently drafting up ways to include relevant data on the screen in the "Way of Starfox".
You shall recognize the usual Starfox HUD, but it will be, as for the rest of the game SOL-styled! ;)

Hum, at least we know that there will be B-Bombs. Maybe not the B-Bomb counter on the HUD, but they will be here, I saw the video where it's used!
Also, I was like so pissed when the Halberd fucked up the GreatFox. I mean wtf, it's a F-word wooden ship firing marshmallow! Plus the GreatFox should be twice it's size normally.
BUT OH WELL, it's the Kirby creator that made SSBB, so guess why it all happened...
And the Great Fox doesn't always get owned.
1) GreatFox > Asteroïds.
2) the GreatFox takes down 3 Harlocks and 2 Zerams in Area 6.
3) It takes down the Hemorrhoid shield when nothing else can do it.

Why not just use an emulator and a capture program like fraps?

I got mine from Best Buy. You can also buy them from any other electronics retailer.
Also, its a Pinnacle capture card. I think they're the best.

EXP? I haven't even been on this forum long enough to even know about EXP, and now that I do know about it I don't care.
I Made this thread and I felt like replying in it like it or not (not that I'm satisfied with the answers I got either way); besides, wasn't like I dragged something that was from page 2 or 3.

Awwww.... and i don't think there will be. Assault and command didn't have it but i did like that feature. i've never played FS2 so i don't know if there's any kind of similar way of increasing your health that's already in the engine.

Yes, there is. All it takes is a bit of not-very-creative FREDing to do it. It has been done before, in principle.

There is no feature exactly like that in any campaign I am aware of. However, the tools and features needed are a part of the FRED toolset; there are sexps to modify your hull value, there are sexps to check for distance to another object. Everything a mission designer would need to pull it off.
If you are talking about the whole rail-shooter experience, THAT is new to SoL. But modifying your health value on the fly while in a mission is definitely possible.

If you are using a health bar, can you make it a rechargeable sheild? I say screw the rings. You probebly like, "Itl geat rid uff all de classicleeness! NoOoO!" but I say screw them because its very unbalanced to go shooting each other and scavenging for some ring on the map. Besides, rechargeable shields make more sense too, I mean Nintendo finally caught up. -Yea we know (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFzyHDrgDc0).
