Will there be any on-foot missions?

I'm asking because I loved the on-foot missions in Assault, and was thinking that they needed a bit more work. The ones in Assault were too short, and pretty vehicle-intensive, even though they were on foot.

I think on-foot Missions for Star Fox is a great direction, but it shouldn't overshadow the Shoot 'Em Up style that Star Fox has always had.

NO, NO On-foot, no Landmaster and no Blue marine.
well, the blue marine is possible but the SoL team doesn't really likes it so yeah.
why? the FSO engine they are modding to make SoL is a Space Combat Simulation, so yeah.

And sorry if i sound rude but it's just annoying that peaople keep asking the same questions e-e

No, I understand. I would imagine this question being asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere, even in the FAQ...maybe I didn't look well enough...

I thought they could have Landmaster and other land vehichle missions. Not on foot missions though. I distinctly remember a team member, or someone else with knowledge of FSO programming, mentioning that it is in fact possible to have land vehichle missions.

Definitely enemy tanks. No clue about playing as a tank, though...

that and this game is supposed to be strictly space/planetary air combat. there was the possibility of the blue marine and/or landmaster, but we have no official word on either yet. so i'm assuming the answer to both is "no" for the time being.

I remember reading somewhere that there will be land and air based missions. I don't know if that means air target and ground target missions though.

i think they were referring to planet side missions not actual land based ones.
