Anyways, each time I try to run it the connection failed dialogue box keeps popping up. Help!
Also, when is this tournament?

Hi. :)
The date for the tournament is not deterined yet. We're still working on some things. (That means MathewPapa is working on them :drevil: )
Which build are you using? Did you copy the new "PXO" config file into the right folder?

Probably i have problem with my net connection, i need IP adres of this serwer, then my admin gonna try to make it work.
Without this i cannot play.

You downloaded the new pxo config file and registered.. right? (i'm pretty sure you did because I saw your game on the stats page yesterday.)
In that case look in the PXO config file, it contains the IP of the new server :)
Also, take a look at the FAQ, here http://www.game-warden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=267

I also get 'connection failed' and i went through the faq- the .cfg file is where it should be. i also forwarded the ports correctly (i'm pretty sure). is the server up at the moment?

Its been up, I played on it this morning. Your internet connection isnt filtering anything is it..? Go double check your config file right now (even if you have already) and make sure its the right one.

fs2open_pxo.cfg is in folder freespace2\data.
content:
67.10.73.119 12000
i guess this is correct isnt it?
about my internet connection: i'm hanging on a custom fli4l (http://www.fli4l.de) - router (basically a pc with 2 ethernet cards and a specially compiled linux os on a single floppy). so there is just a 'natural firewall' between me and the internet- no software firewall at all. and i havent got a message from my antivirus or antitrojan- tool when i wanted to enter fs2netd.
what could it be then?

hmm.. now i'm being told by the game, that i havent got tcp/ip installed on my pc- very strange. i dont think this runs over ipx, does it? :nervous:

you have to configure how you connect to the internet through the fs2 launcher

i did that of course. i've set it to lan connection and adsl speed. the only thing i could do in addition to that is setting up a local port, maybe i should enter there one of the forwarded ports?
