Sorry, I didn't post anything in the last days. My gfx card is defect, so I cannot use my own PC.

The new one is on the way but I think I will not get it until next monday.

Argh, you're the one that has the raw scenes and a working 3d program.

I guess he'll just have to use the full raw scenes and the scanned pics I have.

Sounds rather like you've somehow gotten IP banned.

You weren't a naughty boy on the forums earlier were you? :) It's possible that you IP address has gotten lumped in with someone else's who was.
 
That's the fatal flaw of IP banning. They have to ban a range of IPs because of dynamic IP addressing using CIDR.

Hopefully, with IP vers. 6, there will be incentive for ISPs to give out statics with basic packages. This is an example IP address in IPv6: FEDC:BA98:7654:3210:FEDC:BA98:7654:3210

A big ass hex number! There would be no real need for dynamics anymore because of the incredibly huge number of variations in the 16 base addressed (8 16-bit numbers!). huge. More variants than the current MAC addressing scheme!

IPv6 will be backwards compatible to allow for transition.

Yeah and I've been into FreeSpace and FreeSpace 2 since 2001.
I didn't even get to post once!
I need to get into this Fred accadamy thing more to, learn to manipulate VP files, and animate Sh*T. I would love to come out with my own custom ship. I can make the model but need help learning to make skins.
My fred skills are ok, but could be much better with a little practice.

I am a profesional drafter so I'm used to working in 3d and with solids.
AutoCad 2001I, AutoDesk profesional, AutoDesk Architecure, CadKey, Solid Works, and other such programs, so Fred is easy.

Need to know how to bond missions together to make them a campian.
Fred needs to be updated, the pre-breifing in FreeSpace 2 has a limited window, that doesn't scroll, but the text window for writing a Pre-breifing alows more text than what can be seen. Some tell those FreeSpace open guys to fix that glitch.
 
Hey you're right. I've never noticed the lack of a scroll bar in the breifing editor. Maybe its a sign that there's too much text there. :p

Anyhow, here's a new position for everyone. A texture artist is needed. We have enough modellers now (we got 4 now), so now we need a texture artist (cause DaBrain is our only one).

I can help with textures, as can a friend. While I'm not the best, I know my way around Photoshop. Though, I'm also working on another mod.
 
I know the last posting has been made long ago, but if you read this and if you are still interested, I'd like to give you an untextured UV map so you can create a sample.

I think I can't take care of all textures myself.

Ok, we need some people again!

Since Johnatan and Omniscraper joined the mod and Axem proved to be a great modder, we've had some great progress.

So now to keep up with the models that come up we need someone to unwrap them.
I you think you can do that, please PM me.


And here is another position. We need someone to convert some models. Well, I am bad at it and I can't spent much time learning it.
