Well, it depends on what kind of FTP you need.

You can rent an FTP or build one yourself. There are a lot places for FTP renting, but which one is the best for you, depends on the ammount of traffic you will need.

hey I can have an avatar which is 8000 by 8000 pixels or 4.00 GB (whichever is smaller), and my sig pic can be as big as i like; i think.

that being said my current sig pic is getting boring, time for a new one. i'll have to see what i can come up with.

I never bothered capping adminstrator profile picture and avatar sizes. In fact, did I even cap regular user profile picture sizes?

If any of you smartasses try and upload a 4 gb picture it wont work. PHP will time you out at about 4.79 mb.
