So are you planning a sequel?

Slave the Planet
You know, after i pissed myself scared playing this when Transcend came out, I'd like to do it again using new material. I'd also like to know how the story goes, but thats a secondary thought :nervous:

IIRC, there were to be three parts to Ransom's campaigns. We have Sync and Transcend, and I'm pretty sure he's got another coming that explains a lot of things.

I'll play it. ;)

There are three parts to Sync. Transcend is sort of a side story kinda thing. As for a sequel to it... sort of, but that's a long way off. And unfortunately I can't even start the next campaign I have planned until certain features are implemented in the SCP.

im sure think you can at least start on some missions that dont need any new features :D. We should set you up with access to the Hosted Projects Collaboration Forum. PM any hlp admin for access.

I'm sure it wasn't meant to be just the HLP hosted projects that got access even though that appears to be what occured.

i think it extends to people who are hosted elsewhere. TI people have access. I'd post a reminder for hosted leaders to sign up, but HLP seems to be borken

At first I thought the net was playing around with me again, but it does indeed seem to be down. :doubtful:

On-topic, what exactly is the Collaborations Forum? I can partially understand that it is a forum specifically for project leaders to meet in and discuss their campaigns, but what generally is discussed in there?

The hosted collaboration forum is a place for the hosted campaigns to post requests for the SCP to give them changes that they want and need for their campaigns.

Requests posted there are given higher priority because the SCP know that they will be used (Many programmers have gotten sick of coding in a feature only to have no one use it).

i think transcend was the first released campaign to make use of the custom loading screens. which is why it took about 18 months in order to fix it properly :blah:

Such as?

Your sexps are ready RA. I finished off add-sun-bitmap and remove-sun-bitmap over the weekend. You can now please start working on a sequel :)

Ah, excellent. Thanks again.

I won't be able to get much FREDing done until December however because I'm attending NaNoWriMo, although I'll make a start if I get the chance. Is there a build with the finished SEXPs posted anywhere yet?

I recently talked to Ransom about this, and IIRC, he has another FS project due sometime in late April/early May that is unrelated to Transcend or Sync (or so he says :nervous: ).
