Did anyone else know there was a version of Starfox for computer that was released almost 5 years before StarFox on Snes??

I tried looking up some info on this game relating to StarFox (snes) but nothing but gameplay and reception came up. Canon?

For computer, yeah... But not PC! Look at the box, it was contained on a tape! Reminds me of my eaaaarly childhood with computers though ^^
Anyway, the logo on the hull of the ship defenitely looks like the one of the Starfox we all know, we got the fuel bar but the design of the ship chearly isn't a match.
 
hmmm... I'm surprised there wasn't any copy right issue with the name ( and the few close similarities)
 
Nintendo had nothing to do with this game. There were copyright issues, and it's the reason why Nintendo's Star Fox was released in Europe as "Starwing", and Star Fox 64 was titled "Lylat Wars".

'think you made a good point there! Never thought about this but now that you mention thit... it sounds just... like crystal (if I may... :P )!
 
I searched but didn't found... I saw a video on youtube a while ago.

It seemed like some sort of Star Trek, but much lamer. And the opening song was lmao.
