Screenshot thread!

Dude with micro shadows
As promised, I've opend a new screenshot thread.

But you can also check the 'old' one. The last shots are still as up-tp-date as this shot. ;)

NOTE: Please do not ask for new screenshots. When we have something to show off, we will, but not before.

Old screenshot thread

And the first shot is kinda... a mystery picture, as you have no chance of guessing what this is for. ;)

Amazing!

But The arwing doesn't really look "arwing-y" from the back,

Which one will you be using?

All of them. Except for the SF:Adventures and Command Arwings.
Nobody has modeled them so far...

Cool!

Can you unlock these arwings? :naughty:

My favourite is probably the SF64 arwing and Assault!

If you've played FS2 you'll have noticed that as you progress new ships are unlocked. It's up to the team whether they want to do it in the game or not but it's definitely possible.

judging by the trailer, ships are recived in this order:

sf64

SNES

assault

cornerian

catspaw

-anything else-

ps: nice to know the basic concept i mentioed go turned into a mode. corridor mode!

Hmm... dunno. I only know the SNES game. Judging from that, the pic could either be a starting sequence, or the entering of the location of some boss (Andross in the SNES game) .

And to me that ship looks perfectly like an SNES Arwing - not that I knew the others...

It looks exactly like the SNES concept Arwings, just keep in mind that the camera in this shot is pointing down over it a little.

i put my eyepoints behind and up a little too. guess i'll be used to it by the time the demo is released.

I also was confused with the SF Arwing. I never bothered asking, though. There's a noticeable difference between the designs, but it's great this way. :) G-Diffusers still look weird in-game, though.

Also, the Command Arwing is the same as the Assault Arwing. Unless you mean the Arwing II.

Unguessable? Darn... I thought it was the Great Fox's gateway for the Arwings. :(

@DaBrain: Maybe we should clean out the posts from the Old Thread and just leave the pictures there. Right now, it's very inconvenient to read the whole thread looking for the pictures. :(

He's saying that the most similar Arwing to Command's is the one from SF64. I would say Adventures myself, since it's quite smooth, but the pointy traingle g-diffusers really make it look a lot like the 64 arwings.

Glad to see a new pic DB! Maybe we should have two topics though? Or host a gallery on Flickr of all the currently released SoL pictures so that finding them isn't an issue?

(I personally think that's a launch tunnel btw. Straight outta the SNES game. SCRAMBLE!)

Oh... that. :| That's not the Arwing. Peppy and James use the Arwing (I'm trusting Arwing Landing for info about James). I stated that in my previous post.
